Milestones
In 1922, the late Dr. Mohammed Said Tamer established the first pharmacy in Saudi Arabia and developed the business to encompass the import and distribution of medicines across the Kingdom. In 1963, the late Dr. Farouk Tamer and Mr. Maamoun Tamer took over management and grew the organization into a leading distributor of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and consumer goods.
Since 1985, the expansion of Tamer Group has continued strongly under the third generation, extending to local manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and other strategic investments in trading, finance, information technology, insurance, and real estate.
